What is a lotion candle?
Bit of heaven Lotion Candles are made with moisturizing, all-natural cosmetic-grade soy, this candle burns only 3 degrees above your normal body temperature—it's warm, never hot. It's the ideal way to moisturize, relax, and unwind. Smooth the candle into your own skin, or enjoy with that special someone. With our Lotion Candle, your cares will melt away.
What makes Bit of Heaven Candles different from other Lotion Candle?
Every candle is hand-poured and made with natural ingredients. All products are made with skin-safe fragrance oils, in skin-safe amounts, so you don't have to worry about harsh fragrances or irritants. Ingredients are all natural and skin-pampering, unlike some of the other “body” or “massage” candles on the market, we do not use traditional soy wax we use high quality cosmetic-grade soy wax, beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, argan oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, vitamin E, and more.
Every candle is hand-poured and packaged in the USA.
How do I use a Lotion Candle?
To use as candle: Trim candle wick to approximately ¼ Inch. Using a low lighter flame or matchstick, slightly tilt Candle at an angle to light wick. Be careful, large flames can cause wax to burn and turn black, ruining the experience.
To use as lotion: If candle wax is in it solid form, use fingers, or spoon (included in kit) to scoop out small amounts of wax. You don't have to light the candle to enjoy its moisturizing benefits. It's the ideal body moisturizer. Smooth lotion onto elbows, ankles, cuticles, hands, or anywhere that needs a little extra TLC.
Want to spice things up? Let candle burn for approximately 15 minutes. Wait for a sizable amount of wax to turn into liquid (approx. 3-4 ounces.) the melted substance will have become warm moisturizing massage oil. Blow out candle wick, make sure flame is out. Gently pour oil in hands or directly to desire body part. You may also use spoon (included in kit) to drizzle onto skin. Don’t worry, oil will be cool to the touch and will not burn the skin. ENJOY!
Where can I use the Lotion Candle?
Use your Lotion Candle anywhere you would use any other lotion product. Besides the hands, it has wonderful effects on dry scaly spots like elbows and heels, ankles, and cuticles, or anywhere that needs a little extra TLC.
Can I use any of my other candles like this?
Sorry, but only BOH Lotion Candles are formulated to be applied as a beneficial lotion all over the body after they are burned. Other candles may contain dangerous additives or artificial fragrances which may cause adverse skin reactions. NEVER try to use just any candle as you would as you would your Bit of Heaven Lotion Candle.

Is there anyone who should not use the Lotion Candle?
Due to the use of nut-based ingredients, do not use the BOH Candle if you are allergic to nuts or nut-based products. If you have a known allergy to fragrance commonly used in bath and body products, we encourage you to test our product on a small area of skin before using on large areas of your body. You might also consider trying our unscented BOH Candle.
And as always, keep children and pets away from candles to prevent accidents or misuse.
